When Capcom release Resident Evil in 1996 on the PlayStation, the game became an instant classic and redefined the survival horror genre of gaming. Resident Evil has now become one of the biggest franchises when it comes to horror survival video games and media as a whole. For Halloween this year I thought it would be worth it to talk about the original Resident Evil and how it changed horror games forever.
