Residents raise concerns about townhomes being included in 1100 South development

At the Sept. 4 Brigham City Council meeting, a state legislator, Brigham City’s former emergency services director, and another resident voiced objections to the proposed Blue Heron Crossing development, while the city council voted to table a subdivision plat amendment until the project’s final plat is recorded. The proposal would amend lot one of the Blue Heron Crossing subdivision so that 106 townhome units, including 12 designed with ground-floor commercial space and housing above, could be individually platted for ownership.
