"Transforming and Thriving," hosted by 3 best friends (Brooke, Stacie, and Neelia) is a podcast dedicated to showcasing the stories of resilient women who have persevered through pivotal transitions and/or traumas. In this episode, Katie Crecion shares her story of true resilience and artistry after experiencing early adversity as well as more recent adversity later in life. Katie was abandoned at birth in Korea, adopted twice, and pressed forward with unwavering determination, turning challenges into fuel for success. In this episode, she focuses on her more recent journey with breast cancer: she was diagnosed at the age of 36 and underwent several rounds of chemo and radiation…all while building a successful career for herself as a brow specialist and opening her own business. She is an example of a strong woman who has faced early adversity as well as adversity later in life, and she has never been deterred.
Katie has built a successful career for herself as a celebrity brow specialist with over 25 years of experience, starting in Seattle, then Oahu, and more recently moving to Beverly Hills to work with many entertainment industry personalities. She built her career as a makeup artist and esthetician, starting as a MAC Pro makeup artist before working alongside the legendary Anastasia Soare for almost a decade. She opened her own salon, Beautique, in Westlake Village, California in 2014 and recently launched the brand Kiki House of Beauty with her hero product, Kiki Balm.
