About the speaker

Rachel has been admitted to many top universities in the UK and currently holds a BSc in Business Management (Marketing) with honors.

She was awarded the President's Medal for Social Responsibility and Student of the Year, an honor given to only one student at the University of Manchester, making her the first Asian woman to receive it.

Rachel also represented Myanmar in the ASEAN Science Project Competition and has won over 50 national and international awards in various competitions.

She achieved an overall band score of 8 in IELTS, and while still in school, took on roles such as Student Representative, Peer Mentor, Student Coordinator, Marketing Intern, and Video Creator. Additionally, she served as Head of Marketing and Social Media for the University of Manchester’s largest Finance Society and was a Project Leader at Enactus UK's Breathe, a mental health and mindfulness project.

She has extensive professional experience in marketing and social media in the UK.

Rachel also shares tips on student life and studying abroad on her YouTube and Facebook pages under the name Rachel Joy. She frequently serves as a guest speaker at youth organizations.
