This is Part 1 of a two-part series.

I’m asking you to picture a river, a logjam, and a lake downstream that represents our democracy.

Logjams don’t happen all at once. They build slowly over time. And if they’re not managed, they can change the course of the river… or break all at once and send everything crashing downstream.

In this video, I lay out that picture and what’s at stake if we ignore it.

In Part 2, I’ll show you what happens when that pressure finally breaks.
