In episode 11, I discuss the importance of resistance training with both Ian Northcott and Brian Sterling-Vete. Ian now runs Mercian Nordic Walking and is passionate about helping individuals reach their full potential. He holds various fitness qualifications and is also a consultant to The World Isometric Exercise Association, as well as being the founder of the charity, Socks and Chocs, for which he was awarded the British Empire Medal. Brian Sterling-Vete is an expert in isometric, and isokinetic exercises. He invented the ISOfitness system of advanced isometric exercise combinations and explains why these are important.
