It's the classic story: you go from a bubbly, extroverted, excited freshman to a tired, antisocial, jaded upperclassman. It happens to all of us. Though a little realism is good, I think that becoming too jaded can become super dangerous to our mental, emotional, and physical health and sense of self. It causes us to lose intentionality, passions, and joy. On today's episode, I'm sharing nine ways in order to resist this natural tendency toward jadedness, including remembering WHY you're here, leaving campus every now and then, and recognizing when you are stuck in a cycle of self-doubt. I hope these are helpful and encouraging to those of us who sometimes feel like we're simply going through the motions.
