Isabella Di Stefano is a new beauty founder and creative entrepreneur. She had her finger on the pulse of social media right when it began, and from there built her own business creating concepts and assets for social media marketing, working with some of the largest brands and celebrities in the world. ISA, her company, prioritizes human emotion, connection, and storytelling in order to truly engage with viewers in a way that transcends the screens we hold in our hands.
Isabella discusses her journey from graduating from NYU Tisch, to MATTEL, to where she is now with ISA. Additionally, leaving Calvin was one of the most transformative moments in her journey. With great mentorship and discipline, she was thrusted into the direction of becoming her own boss and creating her OWN company. Isabella emphasizes the importance of GRIT, and continuing to “test, learn, and optimize.”
She talks about the way she approaches building content franchises with structure and the art of the “subliminal sell,” with prioritizing that human emotion then layering on the business aspects. The deep dive of research and review of historical data she does on the talent or brand, and how she believes that social media is the most direct communication with your consumer.
