International Women’s Day (IWD) is held on the 8th March each year, it is an opportunity for organisations to embrace and cultivate an ongoing commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and celebrate the achievements of women. It is also a call to action for accelerating women's equality. In 2022, the IWD UN theme is Changing Climates: Equality today for a sustainable tomorrow. It recognises and celebrates the contribution of women and girls around the world, who are working to change the climate of gender equality and build a sustainable future.
