The Nigerian Bar Association Conference, held between August

25th and 30th, focused on Getting it Right; Charting the Course for Nigeria's Nation Building. The event featured Habib Oloalomi Oyegbile, popularly known as Portable or Mr. Zeh, who performed his famous song Zazoo Zeh. Many people were not happy about the presence of Portable, as the Nigeria Bar Association is Nigeria's foremost professional membership organization and Africa's most influential network of legal practitioners.

The Nigerian entertainment industry has a diverse range of

artists, including Timi Dakolo, Olamide, Asake, Asa, Ebenezer Obey, King Sunny Ade, and many more. However, the presence of Portable raises questions about respect for institutions and the relationship between the artist and the institution. Some argue that the presence of the singer may pass a wrong message to the public, while others question whether the institution should be respected.
