One of the greatest gifts a parent can instill in a child is teaching him or her how and why to respect parental authority. When this lesson is learned, it prepares the child for other life situations where respecting authority is essential. Most importantly, it will help train a child to show respect to the Father in Heaven. As our Holy Conduct series continues, this study will focus on how we should view God's commands and our attitude toward His authority.
