God is not against us having treasures, God is not at all opposed to us having a treasure mentality.  Jesus just says stop storing up your treasures in a foolish way and start storing them up in an intelligent way, in a place where they are going to last.  In other words, Jesus is not saying renounce your treasures; He is saying RELOCATE them!
