What happens when the work we put forth gets rejected? How are we to respond, and what steps should be taken next?  You may be thinking of rejection in terms of relationships or opportunities, but this would be missing the deeper meaning of rejection.   Paul is concerned with the quality of the Gentile's faith and the "offering" they are giving to God.  Often it's assumed that God will always accept what we give him no matter what, but is that always the case?
