When we are in the midst of suffering, Jesus meets us personally. As we look at the suffering of two sisters, Mary and Martha, after their brother's untimely death, we see that Jesus shows them the fullness of who he is: Fully God and Fully Man. As God, he points Martha to the truth that he's in control. As a man, he weeps with Mary in her sorrow.
How does Jesus respond to our suffering? How should you respond to him?
