Why do we do what we do as believers? We do not have the ability to earn God’s love through what we do. You being a follower of Jesus is not based on anything we have done but because of what Jesus has done. In looking at the story of Zacchaeus and the invitation that Jesus gave him, we see that Jesus is calling you by name and is inviting you down out of the tree into a relationship with Him. What is our response to the invitation, and what kind of response is produced once we receive the invitation? Listen to this sermon about our response to receiving the invitation in the first part of our Response series.
