Jesus isn't a campsite to visit; He is a home to inhabit
Mark 9:1-13
This week in The Way: The Gospel of Mark, we look at the Transfiguration in Mark 9:1–13 and ask a challenging question: Is Jesus a campsite in your life… or is He home? On the mountain, Peter wanted to build tents and stay in the powerful moment—but Jesus was calling them to follow Him back down. Many of us love experiencing God’s presence in church, at camp, or in emotional highs, yet struggle to carry that obedience into everyday life. Jesus isn’t meant to be visited occasionally or leaned on only in crisis—He is meant to rule and reign in every room of our hearts. The call is simple: tear down the tents, listen to the Son, and let His presence move from temporary experience to daily surrender.
