We live in an age where busy-ness is a badge of honor.  If someone asks what your weekend plans are, many people would feel a strange sense of guilt if they honestly said "I plan to rest."   While a willingness to work hard with joy is certainly an important part of Christian character, some would be surprised how many times God encourages us to rest and relax.  Trying to work our way into God's favor is sure to exhaust, so pull up a couch and rest your way through the rest of Hebrews chapter 4.
