Just like loving a significant other requires quality time and slowing down, our relationship with God requires the same thing if we want to show Him that we love Him. Resting, according to the Bible, means slowing down and reflecting on His love for us so that we can be refreshed and prepared to go back into the chaotic world we live in and work to prepare it for when Jesus returns.
