The average American is facing busyness and burnout, anxiety about the future, and financial stress. You would expect Christians to feel differently, but if we're honest most of us are failing to live the "abundant life" Jesus came to give us. But another way is possible, despite the chaotic times in which we live, in Jesus, Christians can experience rest—an overriding sense of contentment and calm. Over the next four weeks at CBC, we will explore this rest and connect it to the peace, purpose, and contentment that Jesus wants to give us.
