Some Christians don’t observe a day of rest because they think they can’t afford to take a day off, that work still needs to be done, or that less economic production will be detrimental to their goals or to the expectations others have of them. But this mentality couldn’t be further from the truth. Deeply rested people are the most productive. In this episode we look at Genesis 2 and God the Creator resting from His work in creation, setting up a pattern for His image bearers to embrace and utilize as a gift from Him.
