The things we can learn from a 12 year old Jesus about civil discourse/dialogue

1. Sit down with people. Engage with them face to face; Heart to heart

2. Meet people where they are: mentally, emotionally, spiritually and as in this text all of those plus  physically,

   Jesus went to them.

3. Listen to understand NOT merely hear to respond. (With gracious speech seasoned with salt, we are obligated to 

give a defense for what you believe Colossians 4:6

The goal is to be kind and respectful in our conversations with others even when we disagree.
