This is his first year as Minneapolis girls head coach but has been coaching for over 28 years. He had coached in Bloomington, Edina, Lakeville South before coming to Minneapolis. Tom grew up in Burnsville as a multi-sport athlete in high school but hockey as his favorite. In his youth he played between the pipes still skating weekly he is a skater more than playing goalie.
