Psalms 6:5 – no remembrance; 146:4 – all thoughts perish; Ecclesiastes 9:10 – no work, device, knowledge nor wisdom is in the grave. The person has no realization of time. Most believe that upon death the person either ascends into heaven or descends to hell.
