John 11:1-27

What is the greatest common problem facing the human race? Ask the bible this question and the answer comes back as the “last enemy”—the “fear of death” (1 Corinthians 15:26; Hebrews 2:15). In John 11 this fear is front and center as Mary and Martha watch Lazarus go from life to death. They turn to Jesus and learn from him something more than they ever expected, that Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life. And because this is who Jesus is, I can have eternal life.
