Luke 24:13-35

When the disciples on the road to Emmaus recognized who Jesus was, and realized he was risen from the dead, nothing would ever be the same again. Seeing their risen Savior face-to-face changed them from despair to joy. And now joy is the norm for God’s new kingdom centered on Jesus’ resurrection.
