When it comes to educating the faithful, “We are not alone in this work.” Such were the words of Dr. Bill Watson, superintendent of Catholic schools, who joins this week’s Talking Catholic episode along with Dr. Lee Mirenda DelleMonache, director of religious education, who are leading the process in the Diocese of Camden to rethink catechetical accompaniment. 

The two talk with hosts Mike Walsh and Jen Mauro about how their work to improve the elements of parish-based religious education led them down a path of completing rethinking the process of catechizing the faithful. It’s a fascinating and hopeful conversation.
