If you are white everyone will try to cheat and steal from you in Guyana. If you have any accent other than local, people in Guyana will try gouging you financially. I guess Exxon screwed Guyana, now the ordinary person here wants to get the money back by sticking it to all the white people. If you come here from America get ready to pay double what a local pays. They would rather not sell a thing if it means selling to an American at a fair price.
