As I began retracing the path of my past,

It's surprising how long memories truly last.
I still remember those kisses I stole in the dark,
Reminiscing the laughter we shared in the park.
Those places we visited together,
The promises we made to each other.
As those memories slowly turns into years,
It now also brings me so much tears.
As the promises we made remains unkept,
The pain and bitterness makes me wept.
I am now no longer young as I once was,
No longer the one to hold your hand on the bus.
The sourness of life taste bitter like lime,
It will forever haunt me until the end of time.
