Kelly Fitzsimmons Burton discusses the definition of knowledge as "justified true belief" as codified by Edmund Gettier. She then contrasts the JTB definition of knowledge with Plato's "true opinion with an account" definition. She entertains some objections and responses from Gettier and Alvin Plantinga. In the end, she claims that there is hope for attaining knowledge.
