This week we have a very special episode of the Retro Wrestling Re-View as Gene Jackson is joined by TWO special guests!  The first guest is the former managing editor of Pro Wrestling Illustrated and is currently the host of the popular podcast, The Outdated Wrestling Hour, of course we're talking about Bob Smith!  Gene and Bob talk about a variety of retro pro wrestling related topics, most notably when Bob traveled down to Memphis and appeared on the July 13, 1991 episode of USWA Championship Wrestling in a memorable segment involving Jerry 'the King' Lawler and Leatherface! Bob got a chance to go behind the scenes and spend a few days on the road with the USWA attending three shows and he has some fun stories from his Tennessee excursion!  Then from there, we get back to our current podcast topic of USWA in 1993 when Gene is joined by "Dangerous" Doug Gilbert to discuss his 1993 feud with his brother "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert, they talk about how and why it came about and what it meant to Doug to get a chance to work an angle on Memphis TV with his brother.  They also talk a bit about Doug's upcoming weekly podcast, "Dangerous Conversations with Doug Gilbert" debuting soon here at Wrestlecopia.com!
