Before the Disney Plus MCU shows, the TV branch of Marvel first appeared on Netflix. The original series of Daredevil kickstarted their own smaller TV universe with Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, culminating in The Defenders. All the series were adult-themed and featured a more mature look while being very loosely connected to the MCU. On this episode of the Comic Years Podcast, our Managing Editor Joshua M.
