On this week's episode Gene Jackson welcomes back Buster "Hellraiser" Johnson to review the July 5th 1997 episode of USWA Championship Wrestling. Buster has some insight on the USWA in this period as he was working there and on this particular episode he was in a match against DOOMSDAY aka Glen Jacobs aka WWE Hall of Famer Kane. July of 1997 was an interesting time in the USWA and this is a very fun episode. We're in the middle of the USWA vs. ECW War as we're building towards an upcoming event 'The Brawl to End it All" where Tommy Dreamer & The Sandman will be coming to Memphis to face Jerry Lawler & Brian Christopher. Plus: King Mabel is on the show, Billy Joe Travis the week after he was arrested and taken to jail on live Memphis television, PJ Walker (aka the future Justin Credible) is here doing an odd character than can only be described as a "White Konnan" gimmick, and much, much more!
