We start our journey into video games from as early as 1947 with a cathode ray tube, and end with the first official home video game console the Magnavox Odyssey. History is not always defined by the winners, but the ones who tinkered, and there were plenty of people tinkering with the ideas of video games that led to some iconic brands that hit the ground running. Games like Spacewar!, Tennis for Two, and Bernie the Brain, among many more, make an appearance!

The short lived Sega Master system undeniably left its mark on the video game console market in the late 80s, albeit not a major one. Plagued with poor marketing and a small library of third party games, Sega nonetheless gave us one of the best places to play video games in the late 80s with arguably more powerful hardware compared to the NES, and a small library of great games with great graphics and color. I'll go through all of that in this episode!
