After a tough close loss to division rival, The Pittsburgh Steelers, the Ravens will take their talents to the west coast as they square off against the Los Angelos Chargers in primetime. Jim and John Harbaugh are two legendary coaches in all of football. Jim Harbaugh made his return to the NFL after a 10 year hiatus. He was widely successful at the collegiate level as his former team, the Michigan Wolverines, would win the CFB championship earlier this year.
The Harbaugh brothers have faced each other just twice in the NFL, and to no surprise the elder brother John leads the series 2-0. Their last face-off would come on the grandest stage of them all, Super Bowl 47 in New Orleans. Interestingly enough, that is the exact same sight of this year's game. Jim Harbaugh has the Chargers rolling, under the radar with a 7-3 record. While John Harbaugh and his Ravens sit atop the NFL as it's hottest offense with a 7-4 record. The Ravens had a tough loss in Pittsburgh last Sunday afternoon, and the Chargers would defeat Bengals in a close contest 34-27 on Sunday Night Football.
Both teams are #1 respectively in their offense and defense prowess. The Ravens have given up big plays in the secondary this season, however they are the top offense in the league. While the Chargers are a top red zone defense and have held opponents to an average 14ppg. Will Lamar and the offense bounce back this week? Can the Chargers stop the league's top scoring offense? Will Jim Harbaugh get his first win against his big brother John? All this and more on another episode of The Purple Pride Power Hour Podcast.
