The wards man McLaughlin and Father Maloney had just about finished the last of a series of weekly talks with Phil Carter a series of Saturday, night suppers, which have been occurring for 10 years. This Phil Carter’s last night as a prisoner and he listens to the Chaplain praise the many good things that Phil has done for the men inside the prison walls…
