This message centers on the ancient yet urgent call of the prophet Zechariah—whose name poignantly means "The Lord Remembers"—reminding us that even when we drift toward self-interest, God’s commitment to our rescue remains unshakable. By tracing the intricate thread of prophecy from the Garden of Eden through the Babylonian exile to the desolate hill of Calvary, we see a God who does not abandon His people in their wandering. Instead, He fulfills a costly plan of return, culminating in the moment Jesus endured ultimate forsakenness so that we might never have to. It is a powerful reassurance that while we are prone to turn away, the Father’s promise of presence is already finished and forever secure.
