After months of emotional upheaval brought on by doubts about their marriage, the two separate, and Jane returns to her childhood home in California, taking their children.
Cal, now alone on his ranch, is forced to confront what he really wants in his life, what he needs. Jane is confronting the same questions.

Return to Promise
This story has a cautionary tale. A marriage that seemed to be great...Until someone from his past wants him. What happens next to the marriage was a wake up call for him.
This was one of her best books ever.
I just love Debbie Macomb books there really enjoyable, I feel like I'm right there with them during the whole book thanks so much for your books keep writing them.
Return To Promise
Debbie Macomber is one of my favorite authors. Real people, problems and solutions. Believable characters, dialogue and story line. This romance has a few twists in it. Jane and Cal are happily married with two small children. Her father has a medical emergency that requires Jane and the children to stay with her parents. Along with the stress of being away from Cal and her father's health, her mom is running a guilt trip on her to stay. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, a young lady who has always imagined herself in love with Cal is doing what she can to undermine their marriage.
I will re-read this book and look forward to more from this author.
LOVE CONCURS OVER TROLLOP
I have seen many women like Nicole Nelson in my lifetime. They are the most hateful lonely miserable people who are not capable
of making anyone happy including themselves. It was great to see Jane and Cal realize the love they have for each other and their
children. I am sure they will have more little ones to add to the family. He needs a few more sons having a ranch to operate in the
future. The whole town and all the people we have been reading about through this series will be missed. You get to really feel like
they are apart of your family.
