Promises are easily made.  It's keeping them that can be tough.  When Hannah made a vow with the LORD, she was serious.  And after God came through with his part, she reciprocated... at great personal cost.  Her promise involved dedicating her child to God... literally and for life.  What helped was being able to see the big picture and the big picture had to do with God being on the move in a really big way.  Wonder if that would work for us too?
