Theme: Encountering Jesus will change us forever. We cannot stay the same!
Scripture: Matthew 2:1-12
Henry Blackaby famously wrote, “You cannot stay the way you are and go with God.” The Magi encountered the Christchild and “returned home by another way.” But this is more than just a reference to the route they took with camels and caravans. They left Bethlehem changed, transformed, and could never be the same as they were when they came.
Has our Advent and Christmas Journey to see the baby Jesus made, an impact on us that will leave us forever changed? I pray so. In fact, my prayer is that each person's lime at Multination Church will indeed be an enduring encounter with Jesus that transforms and reforms each one in such a way that when they leave here, whether to return to his/her own country, or to another land, that they will not go the same as they were when they came here.
