In this episode, I reflect on the value of returning to our spiritual roots. Family reunions remind us that we did not begin with ourselves. We are connected to people, places, and memories that came before us. Spiritually, the same truth matters even more. Christianity did not begin with modern religious names, traditions, or divided groups. Christianity began with Christ.
Jesus said He would build His church, and the first Christians continued in the apostles’ teaching. That picture calls me back to something simple and powerful: the Christianity Christ gave in the beginning. I do not want to build something new, defend human traditions, or trade one man-made label for another. I want to ask what Christ taught, what the apostles preached, and what the first Christians practiced.
This episode is about the Restoration plea: returning to the ancient paths, where the good way is, and walking in it. It is a call to be Christians only, to follow the Bible only, and to do all things in the name of the Lord. The best way forward may not be something new. It may be having the courage to return to Christ.
