God’s Legacy to His Children is a vision of the Future he plans for His Creation to guide their lives which are arrows He shoots through history to the future aimed to strike deep into its heart transforming that future as we go. From the first verses of the Bible to the Last, God’s people inherit the earth in the space time history He began in the garden. It is by his word that we do not merely travel into, but we shape the heart of the future.

This is the first and introductory podcast of Reconstructionist Radio’s, “Shaping the Future”God’s Legacy to His Children is a vision of the Future he plans for His Creation to guide their lives as a pilgrims through history to the future we are shaping in space and time as we go.From the first verses of the Bible to the Last, God’s people inherit the earth in the space/time history He began in the garden — “Be Fruitful, Multiply, Fill the Earth . . . and you shall crush his head . . .By Grace are you saved through faith . . . for you are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus to walk in the good works He prepared for you from the foundation of the world. . . The Spirit and the Bride say Come.”It is by his word that we do not merely travel into, but we shape the very future itself this is what God ordained, this is why he came to die for the world, and why he promises to establish his kingdom in the History he began.The Bible gives a picture of the world found nowhere else in the history of human cultures except for those peoples and cultures who have come in contact with His vision. And those cultures even though they may be pagan or in our case, have turned secular, they have been transformed by this vision and have appropriated it for themselves, to the extent that they even today believe it to be their own as do Christians for whom it is their legacy and heritage.The vision is simple: It is not, “You can change the world.” It is, “God designed you from the foundation of the earth to change it for the better and he designed the earth to be changed by you.”It never occurred to any culture that change was possible, or normal, or good. But the Bible literally created the idea that the future will be a better place than the past and you will help make it that way because God made you to shape the future and he made the future to be shaped by you.God gives a continuity to His plan that would survive us all and give meaning to all we do.This podcast is about what that future has been from the beginning.How Jesus Christ, God, died to secure you for that future and secure that future for you, and how the Holy Spirit has equipped you with everything you need to shape it and has equipped the future to be shaped by you.We are going to learn how to disciple the nations by giving them a future.So Lets get started.Tonight I’m going to talk about . . .
