Episode 9: Show Notes.
From art school, to design consulting, to full-time band member, to photographer; creative pursuits have formed the foundation of Reuben Wu’s life. And although many people told him it wasn’t possible, he's been able to successfully achieve his childhood dream of becoming an artist. Reuben has commercial clients which include Apple and National Geographic and has worked in the permanent collections of Guggenheim Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and MoMA. He has also recently entered the relatively new, fast-moving world of NFTs, and he has valuable advice for artists who are coming into the space, as well as for artists in the traditional art world. Join us today as Reuben shares his journey, including the challenges of working as a photographer in freezing temperatures, his worst drone crash experience, and the various things he, a native Brit, loves about living in America (in the Midwest in particular).
