In this episode of ‘The Bible and Me’ podcast, Nigel Watts sits down with Rev Dr Jon Mackenzie. Jon grew up in Essex and on leaving school undertook 13 trips from aged 18-21 to Serbia/Bosnia not long after the 1992-95 war, taking humanitarian aid to refugees. Since that time he has been an RAF Regiment Reservist, a one-on-one carer for a boy with Autism for 4 years, a youth leader, a student at the Highland Theological College from where he obtained a first class BA Hon degree and now the Pastor of Forres Baptist Church in Scotland.
