Welcome to the Lovecars On The Grid Podcast, where our hosts Tiff Needell and Paul Woodman bring us a roundup of motorsport events from around the World!
This week, there's WRC and Moto GP in Spain, British GT and BTCC at home, and MAD Ring in Madrid?
As Tiff calls it, have they created a Madring in Madrid? The rumours of an upcoming event in Madrid that looks suspiciously similar to Monaco!
In WRC, the drivers were rallying in the Canary Islands for the first time, where the raw talent of the drivers was on show! Who do you think was the best driver?
The MotoGP riders were also in Spain, where we had an action packed motorbike race! It was Spanish riders winning all round, with Spanish wins in MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3!
Back home at Silverstone, we had the British GT 3 hour race. 16 year old British driver, Freddie Slater managed to pull off a 10 second lead! Could we see him in Formula 1 one day?
The BTCC hit the track for the first time at Donington Park, where Ash Sutton continued to dominate, followed by Tom Ingram.
In NASCAR, the drivers were at Talledega, where we had plenty of action and cars being taken out during the race!
Next week, Miami beach hosts Formula 1, with the F1 Academy. Indycar is back in Alabama, and elsewhere we have World Superbikes in Italy and NASCAR in Texas, whilst Formula E is back in Monaco!
