In Revelation 19, we learn that Jesus doesn't just want us to "get to heaven," He wants us to be present and experience His presence. He wants a real and personal relationship with us. He shed His Blood out of passionate love for us and He's not returning for a Bride who shows up once a week to hold doors and play dress-up. He's returning for a Bride who is head over heels in love with Him. God created us to enjoy a personal and real relationship with Him and that's what is at the heart of it all.
