We take moments of deep grief as an opportunity to be driven to the cross and the promises of God. 

We recognize these moments as sharp reminders that things are not as they were meant to be. 

We allow seasons of grief to keep us from getting too comfortable here and to keep us moving forward as pilgrims on our way to heaven through a foreign land.
