* I 1 Kings 5:17 we see Solomon laying costly stones for the foundation of the temple.

* These stones would never be visible, but show the importance of laying a proper foundation.

* Doing your absolute best when nobody is watching is laying costly stones.

* Spending time digging deep spiritually building ourselves with a proper foundation is going to cost us something, but it will establish us permanently in God’s kingdom.

* Here in Revelation we see that the new Jerusalem also has costly stones but they are visible for everyone to see.

* Everything we did in secret worthy of heaven will one day be revealed.
