* This is very interesting - Cowards are on the top o the list of those who don’t make it into the kingdom of God. Wow.

* Boldness shows God that we fear Him more than we fear people.

* There’s a BIG reward for those who show courage amidst persecution.

* Tyndale Commentary - “To be cowardly before the enemies of God……is finally to lose the things of God. John is not speaking of natural timidity, but of that cowardice which in the last resort chooses self and safety before Christ….”

* 2 Timothy 1:7 - “God did not give us a spirit of cowardice….”

* So if we give in to cowardice we are not yielding ourselves to Christ.
