Revelation 7 serves as a powerful interlude between the sixth and seventh seals, revealing God’s sovereign protection and redeeming love in the face of judgment. In this divine vision:

First, four angels stand at the four corners of the earth, holding back destructive winds until a seal is placed on the foreheads of God’s servants—​the 144,000, drawn from Israel’s twelve tribes—as a mark of divine ownership and protection .

Then, a breathtaking multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language stands before the throne and the Lamb, clothed in white robes and holding palm branches, symbolizing purity and victory .

They together lift their voices, proclaiming: “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb” (Rev 7:10). Around them, angels, elders, and living creatures join in worship and a sevenfold doxology praising God’s eternal glory .

One of the elders explains that these are those who “have come out of the great tribulation”, having washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb—​a vivid picture of redemption and perseverance . The chapter concludes with divine promises of eternal comfort: no more hunger or thirst, protection from heat, guidance to living fountains of water, and tears wiped away by the Lamb Himself .

Revelation 7 underscores God’s sovereignty, the inclusivity of His salvation, and the ultimate reward for faithfulness and endurance.
