This episode is the third week in our series on Revelation and looks at John's vision in Revelation chapter 4. Once again, we examine the historical background of Rome in the first century. And what we discover is that a counter-image and narrative to Rome is presented where God is the true king and God is on his throne using power to make all things new. We learn in this opening section of Revelation that God is sharing an invitation to be a part of this new creation.
